Sorting and packaging

To support our expanding orchards and ensure consistent export quality, Naughty Orchards is in the process of acquiring a modern cherry packing and assembly line. This investment strengthens our post-harvest capabilities and allows us to maintain full control over fruit quality, presentation, and traceability from harvest to shipment.

Each buyer has unique requirements for packaging, fruit size, and color—especially large supermarket chains with the highest standards. Our assembly line is being designed to meet these precise demands, giving us the flexibility to tailor sorting and packaging to specific market needs. Managing this process in-house ensures gentle handling, consistent quality, and compliance with international food safety standards.

The system will receive and pre-cool freshly harvested cherries, gently wash and clean the fruit, sort it by size, color, and quality, remove defects, and package it for cold storage or immediate shipment. It will support a wide range of plastic and carton packaging formats, with pack sizes ranging from 200 grams to 8 kilograms.

Planned in line with GlobalG.A.P. and EU export standards, the facility is scalable and designed to grow alongside our orchard production—ensuring our cherries meet the expectations of even the most demanding global buyers.
